Trackbees was founded in 2018, in Oman. Aiming to create a science -driven solution to improve the yield of commercial beekeeping. Beekeeping has been facing many serious issues in the last decade. Since the late 1990s, a variety of hive problems , honey bee diseases and pests have devastated beehives around the world.
Trackbees uses IOT (internet of things) Technology, including in hive sensors and GPS long range tracking for the hives , to monitor the health of honey bees in beehives.
Eng. Othman Al Mandhari, the founder and CEO at InnoTech. He graduated from Sultan Qaboos University as a Mechatronics engineer and started InnoTech. Othman is the winner of the best entrepreneur award in Oman 2017 which is organized by the Public Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Oman "Riyada". Othman delivered many speeches about entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology in Oman and internationally over the past 6 years.
InnoTech team members are 9 full-time bachelor degree-holding employees with a 100% Omanization percentage. The team is expected to expand in the next few months due to the increasing activities of InnoTech. InnoTech also received a 100k USD seed stage investment from the Oman Technology Fund.
Othman is certified as a Consultant Trainer by the Management and Technology Institute under the Ministry of Manpower in Oman. He also participated in the startups Bootcamp by Wadi accelerator in Oman, the startups Bootcamp in Dubai and London, and the 6-months intensive training by the 500 startups.
Ali Al Rahma is a Senior Project Manager in the banking industry, who focuses on executing and delivering bank wide projects using the best Project Management practices and methodologies. Ali has been awarded the Fulbright Scholarship from the US Department of State to purse his graduate studies in the United States. While on the Fulbright program, he has completed his Masters of Business Administration in Project Management and Global Management.
Ali is also involved in community and other organizations outside of his professional career. He is a Board Member of the Oman American Business Center, which is a business community that fosters the ties between Oman and the United States. He is also a member of the United Nations Economic And Social Council (UN ECOSOC), and has represented the Sultanate of Oman in the United Nations Youth Forum
During his first years of his career, Ali has been awarded a unique secondment to the Royal Bank of Scotland in London, UK to develop a financial model for Oman Oil Company, one of Oman’s largest companies. Ali is a great supporter of volunteer and community work.
Alena Dique is the first student from Oman to win the scholastic award in London for her master’s research at University of Wales for SME Business Innovation. She is a finalist of the prestigious Women in Tech Awards Middle East under the category of Young Leader of the Year 2018. She has also been the youngest manager at work to be trained in the Executive Leadership development for Project and Stakeholder Management.
A Communication and Quantitative techniques professional, Alena is also a Sustainable Development Goals Advocate, first and current youth representative of Oman for the United Nations Conference on Trade & Development (UNCTAD) Youth and United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth delegation.
Alexander Jader is the CEO of ExecBeat Ltd., an international Strategy & Marketing Consultancy and Executive Education provider.
